The optimal time for doing exercises is in the day when there is the sun in the sky. It refers to the time slot from the sunrise to the sunset. During this period, the oxygen is sufficient and you could enjoy the sunlight, which is beneficial for the health.
However, some people could hardly meet such a requirement. After the sunrise, they have to go to work and would not get off work till the sunset. For such case, they could do exercises in other time slots, such as morning and evening. In comparison, evening is better than morning, for the plants do not make photosynthesis in the night and the oxygen released in the morning is relatively little. In the night, oxygen is relatively sufficient. If one could not do exercise in the optimal time, he could do it at any time.
Is there any relation between exercise time with eating time? Is it better to do exercise before the meal or after the meal? Many people like exercise in the morning, for the environment is pure and there are few vehicles, people would have a pleasant feeling when they do exercise. The secretion of glucocorticoid rises from 4 a.m and the blood glucose thus rises correspondingly. Therefore, the latter you do exercise, the higher the blood glucose would be. Therefore, we do not recommend exercise without breakfast and medicine after getting up in the morning. It is suggested that the exercise shall be done after taking medicine and breakfast normally. At that moment, the sun rises up. That would be better.
What is the appropriate time for doing exercise after the meal? Generally speaking, we recommend half an hour to one hour later after the meal. In this way, we leave time for the digestion. When the food is digested well, the supply of blood for gastrointestinal tract would decrease and it would supply the legs and arms. The whole body would be supplied with sufficient oxygen, which guarantees the body could have better exercise. Therefore, it recommends the exercise should be half an hour to one hour later after the meal.
